Welcome to Astrometrics, the homepage of a Consumate IT Professional.
Over the coming months slash years, this site will compile a list of useful hopefully informative web pages on my favourite open source applications. This list will constantly be changing as I find new ones and old ones must go.
It will include odd snippets of my home life which is eternally busy, what with two kids, car, garden, house, dog oh yeah and the wife to look after.
My Timeline
- Born at a very early age
- School, boring but sport was fun, apart from the Gestapo type teachers ruining all the fun
- Paper round, paid for frequent trips to the cinema
- Discovered girls, back row of aforesaid cinema
- Apprenticed, but wasn’t fired
- Built and repaired ships, boats, cars, trains yada yada
- Married
- Kids, yep one of each,
- Sadly my dog Fuji died, so now I have a deputy dog Buster the border colliesee his blog imaginatively titled Buster.
- Transferred from building \ repaing transport vehicles into the IT Department
- Discovered linux CD on front of magazine
- Moved house
- Now get paid for my hobby………..now how many people can say that
